Sydney Craft Beer Week was a week long celebration of everything craft beer! Craft beer is defined by the brewers association in Colorado as ‘beer made by a brewer that is small, independent, and traditional’. And this is exactly what the organizers of Sydney Craft Beer Week 2013 was trying to push.
The event was held from the 19th of October to the 26th of October in 2013. This massive week hosted over eighty events at more than thirty venues across the city of Sydney, showcasing craft beers from breweries from Sydney, interstate and around the world. Paste Studios- an official sponsor of Sydney Craft Beer Week 2013 for video and photography- covered the launch party of the event which was held at the Vic on the Park in Enmore. Paste Studios also filmed at various other craft beer events which contributed to the video, from brewery tours and tasting sessions to all-out tap takeovers and craft beer fight clubs. From pop up craft beer stalls in the center of Sydney’s CBD to beer and food degustations (tasting techniques to test for quality) and beer and food pairing events. This video was shot and designed to highlight the positive spirit which Craft Beer brings to those who drink it and allows the consumer to really appreciate a small part of a big thing.
All of us at Paste Studios enjoyed working with such unique and fun people, and enjoyed tasting the array of excellent craft beer that the local microbreweries had to offer.
